FIVE STARS Side Rack Systems: These renowned racks from FIVE STARS are suitable for fitting all Givi and Kappa cases with the Monokey system and the moto detail 44-litre case. They are made of high-quality, solid ST 36 steel and are manufactured exclusively in Europe using modern CNC bending machines and laser technology. Then all components are given an all-weather-resistant powder coating or undergo tough three-layer chroming. Includes installation instructions and all the mountings required. Please note: The item designation of some side racks contains a code (e.g.: A, D, D*, M and T). These codes are explained below. Five Stars offers an innovative "Delock" Side Rack for selected motorcycles. These racks are easy to remove from the bike in a matter of seconds (e.g. at your holiday destination), leaving only discreet fittings, which are generally concealed and do not detract from the look of the bike. Delock Side Racks have a "D" in the item designation. - Notes on mounting side cases:
All Givi and Kappa cases with the Monokey system and moto detail 44-litre cases simply click onto the side racks using the lock kits supplied. Note that Five Stars racks are NOT compatible with the following brands of case: Hepco & Becker, Krauser, SW-MOTECH, Schuh and Bieffe. The moto detail 42-litre case (Order no. 10025915) can be attached to the side rack using the Universal Adapter Plate supplied."A": This is NOT a FIVE STARS tubular steel rack, but a Kappa adapter plate specially designed for this motorcycle, with which all KAPPA, GIVI and moto detail Monokey top boxes and cases are, of course, compatible. "D": This is a Delock side rack. Delock racks are easy to remove from the bike in a matter of seconds! The attachment points are extremely small and concealed, so they do not detract from the look of the bike. With the Delock rack system, only the side racks can be removed. The top box rack is left on the bike. "D*": This side rack can only be installed in conjunction with the corresponding Mounting Set (Order no. 10022239) or with the Five Stars Top Box Rack. "M": Side racks or top box racks can only be installed individually in conjunction with the Mounting Frame (Order no. 10023073). When mounting side and top box racks together, only one Mounting Frame is required. "T": With this model, it is not possible to mount the side rack by itself (that is, without the top box rack), since either the turn signal lights have to be moved or additional attachment points on the top box rack are required. So be sure to order the top box rack as well. |
